My sister...i hardly really talk about her, but today she got some great stuff in the post so, i thought it would be a good idea to feature them in my blog, she says she wants to experiment on me with her new buys....i dont mind....ill just be chomping on the nice sweeties that wer sent as well....

I like this one lot ;). It's a 'tangle teaser' and it's a brush/comb. People usually rave the Denman brush for detangling (It's actually not bad). And since my hair is pretty much afro-like at the moment, it needs to be detangled- throughly. People have dubbed this the 'new Denman' so I thought, ok then :) I opened this and I looked in horror.... (So many little teeth >_<, argh! Broken hurrs....) Afro hair + small teeth on comb = ripping out hairballs.

But, I swallowed my fear, tried it out on a small piece of hair, hit NO snags and... no hair in the comb. Nada. *blink, blink*. It's a keeper ;)

Ooh, P.S. I'm not sure if it's cause the delivery was late, (I'll give them slack- it was crimbo) or because I'm special to them (hopefully), but it came with sweeties in the parcel.. thank you kindly! ;)

Ahh... If you asked me two years ago if I would put eyeshadow on myself, I would have raised an eyebrow at you. Not sure why now, (I think it's cause of all the wonderful eyeshadow tutorials on youtube....) but I really like eyeshadow looks. However, my eyelids look like I dipped them in oil by midafternoon. Urban Decay Primer Potion. I guess most eyeshadow wearers know of this, and praise this, as one of the best eyeshadow primers. I've heard of problems with the shape of the bottle, but that's nothing a knife and spoon can't fix :)

I tried to deceive myself that I didn't need them, but if I'm gonna put blush and eyeshadow on, I guess it would look more neater with a brush? It's tiny and so cute and comes in a small case :)

Manic!

first thing first wishing you all a merry Christmas, to those who do an don't celebrate it hope you had a lovely day in, and my Xmas was cooler than cool...no fuss, no hub-bub.

I guess we all looked forward to the end of this year, but really after xmas people do really get the 'hump'. I call is post Xmas depression. we all have to wait another year for this somewhat stressful time of the year.

:O. then comes the sales. I feel clever this year as i have planned what i need, and i have decided to wait after the 26th, sorry I'm not going to risk getting my toes mushed on.

Not So Private Diary 18/12/10

Yet again it comes to the end of a stressful week, school are closed for the Xmas holidays, yet my collage is not. I guess the love to see our faces, despite the fact that they don't know us. individually.d So it finishes for me on Wednesday. OH YES..i haven't forgotten. the snow. :(. hate it.

My sister has also returned from uni so i couldn't wait to have a rumble in her luggage to see the new things she brought, and i could show her the things i brought. To be honest it does feel weird talking to someone else for a change and her coming to my room to wake me up in the morning. So today we decided to go out for some shopping, to make some Delicious recipes from her 2 student cook books. and i must say i am looking forward to some beef noodles, and Victoria sponge..maybe a little drink to soak it all up....preferably, Malibu mix with pineapple juice....top notch! how was your week?

And i was Very disappointed.

Yes yes...i licked a candle because i couldn't believe how great it smelt.

On YouTube i do hear quite allot of people talking about these Yankee smanky candles.

I popped in the shopping mall, to find my mother a birthday present, and i went into 'birthdays'
I hope allot of people have this shop, because i have no idea where else they do these candles, maybe john Lewis.

Anyway me being a sucker for vanilla sweet scents i picked up...

Vanilla Frosting

To describe it if you have ever brought Betty crockers vanilla frosting it is exactly like that.
This one costs £1.49, the larger ones are £11 or so. But last ages.

Do you like any particular candles if so let me know...I'm into them for some reason.

Not so private diary. 12/12/2010

Shoot, staying till the early hours, I totally forgot about this segment of my blog.

Well I must admit, i have missed a weeks worth of this, but I'm doing it now.

So as allot of people in the UK know, there is student riots, and yes come Thursday, it was voted that student fees will be £9000. sad times. AND NO EMA. double sad times.

Also snow has finally cleared up from that dreadful week. HURRAH!. but there's apparently more to come. 0_o..not cool.

I kinda feel like a news reporter. anyway, exams are coming up for me and mocks next week, so jam packed revision, and I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling the heat , but others in college are. Good luck guys and stay true to revision. But the question is....would i?. * looks shifty eyed*

Saturday I and my mother to a trip to Bluewater. It was so much fun, great things brought and that place it huge. I no longer like lakeside. But I'm wondering if Westfield is better.

Hibernating.

Yes. I mean what i say in the title. I am hibernating.


1) i refuse to detach myself from my oh so warm duvet

2) i hate.hate. early mornings so attendance is not so go this week

3) i come ALIVE in the night time.

I really do hate my routine, and its going to be a bummer to get out of it. i need someone to kick me out of bed ( not mother thank you) . As well as that damn snow. In places out of London it is so so bad, and London's just has a little dusting of it.

Well it makes it worst for me that I'm one of those areas outside London. BAM..that snow came and its not budging for shhh.it. so you have people slipping and sliding.

Doesn't it make you laugh how people trip up on ice and continue walking like nothing happened. i remember seeing a city guy going to work all crisp in his suit, serious looking he was not gonna let the snow get in the way of his power walking...silly bugger went and slipped.

Laugh about it people..ITS OKAY. just hope not to get sectioned.

Not So Private Diary. 27/11/10

I reckon i might be doing this at least every week, just so people can get a 'snippet' of my:

• Everyday life
• Those oh so wonderful dramas.

First entry and already a whole load of crap. This week has been very productive, although it comes to a point where I'm feeling very unsocial, which is not such a good thing. Its a hard decisions at this point of my life to juggle Friends, education as well as family. HA..long gone the relationships. I can't. Just cant. commit.

Any triers 'GIVE UP'. lets be Friends instead. hows about that?
Also how do you know if your not a good Friend? would a Friend tell you or would they keep quiet, therefore you go on not knowing.

People should understand that there is being:

1. COMPLETE and utter mean
2. Constructive Criticisms. <>

I think just for Xmas, i might just leave 5 cans of Guinness and maybe some nuts if I'm feeling generous, just to sweeten Santa up a bit ( more like get him wasted). So you see, i really am in need of some nice Xmas presents this year...or else...*glare* 'imma kidnap Santa' :P.

I don't know what is going on with blogger, but posting is a bit odd now.
Anyways this is my only and favourite statement t-shirt, that i brought from H&M around the summer time, you might still find it. I LOVE it because it is off the shoulder and edgy.

So its basically a rollingstones icon, i would love to be on one of there covers doing something CRAZY, but i still wonder why Britney has loads of covers from them. I don't mind johnny depp AT ALL...you go'head do yo thing.

By the way the top was £10, and blazer £20...all H&M..

Hair and Face Products/Routine

So i want to start off with the most important thing of all.

A HUGE, thank you to my new followers, it means a huge deal to me..so thank you!

As you all now it is technically winter..according to the weather man. Now i don't want to be abandoning this good hurrr of mine or my skin so 'amma' protect it..'yah get meh?'

Starting with my hair.

Normally i always either wear half head weave on ( which means i leave out the front of my hair) or extensions,but i find that my hair is happier with weaves.

So every week, normally a Sunday or a Saturday, because i prefer to leave a full day i do the following;

I prepoo (before shampoo) my hair with this hair oil, it has coconut, amla,lemon,henna etc, i have used this before but brought it recently and mahhnn the price has gone up were i buy it, so next time ill get it cheaper from paks cosmetics. So i just rub it allover my natural hair.

Then i plop a little of Castor oil on my scalp and ends of my hair, if you don't know Castor oil promotes hair growth and its is incredibly thick so you can mix it with other oils , i don't.

However every other week i would use this conditioner after the washing of the prepoo, and just wrap my hair up. Its a protein conditioner so if very frequent its not good,so u gotta balance it out.

If i have allot of build up on my hair i would use this shampoo, i mostly use is when i take out my weave on.

Normally i use this one as i do use heat on y hair 2 a week or so, and i do use it on my weave on which is Remy hair so i can do anything to it. The shampoo is not drying at all i believe, but then again i prepoo (:

This is what my hair looks like in conditioner, to those who think i relax my hair, which i don't, as i am a transitioner, i have been for about more than a year. Its tough, but way worth it!

For the conditioner i might use this if i feel my hair is itchy 0r has 'THE FLAKES'

But to be honest i can budget for this bottle all the time at £6 or so...hmmph!

But normally it has to be this, which i use on both my weave and hair, which smell great and feel creamy, and makes my hair feel sooo much manageable.

After all of that jazz, i don't dry my hair, i leave it wet and add my heat protectant(tresemme), and mango and olive moisturizer(elasta qp)then blow dry.

Now for the FACE.

I have changed up my routine because i finished all my last products. So now i have gone back to what i used to use ages ago which worked for me.

Pronounced 'du du oh soon'. Yes so many pronouced it wrong, but if your african you might know your grandmother or maybe your mother to use this. This is ancinct wives traditon, i guess this is there all rounder soap, used for hair, skin, body. Used to treat skin and hair conditones.

But i only use it on my face no other, in britan more beauty supplly stores have been selling it. I used to get ut for 50P UNTIL....some punk had to go and up the price to £1.70. nah.im not feeling it.

So great soap, leaves my skin feeling looking nice, but it is a must to use a rich moisteriser, and your good to go. Its got all sort of natural ingreadients, Palm oil, lemon, aloe vera, plantian ash,coco ash, shea.

Ive limited this to using it once a day.

I also use the castor oil yet again, after washing my face whist wet to lock in the moisture, i rub it all over, like a mini facial, take a warm flannel and let the heat penetrate then wipe off..ahhh you will notice a diffence. Plus its good on your lashes and brows.

Then finally a toner that contains no nasty alchol, leaves my skin smooth ready for moisturiser, i like it allot, more than my simple toner i used a while ago.

This was very long , but i had to get it all in there.

Bloody 'ELL!

I.AM.SO.TIERD. to much revision to do,college life is a bum,and Ema is pants, so i don't see no dosh!...(y) nice. Any who what makes me happy at the moment is nail varnishes, since hands are always on show it makes your hands look feminine. Plus its a boredom breaker when your in class to peel off....such a bad habit but oh wells. So the colour I'm into at the moment is 'dusky mauve' i say 'dusky ma-wah-ve'..so yup! i like the fact that is gives of different shades in different lighting, sometimes looks purple, then gray, then mushroom-ish?

Midnight 'Munch'

I don't know what it is about eating at midnight, but for me it makes me feel all warm inside like I've accomplished something.

Think Nigella Lawson always going back to that godforsaken fridge and rummaging up some good munch. She makes it seem so sexy....MEN AVERT YOUR EYES. We all know why the men watch her.

To top it off a good book and a cup of tea does it for me. I just started reading this book yesterday night , i didn't think id 'dig' it but its totally addictive. (thanks dad (y) ).

I have some free time on my hands at the moment. Since it is getting closer to winter, avoiding dry skin is a must. So going from the warm indoors to the cold out doors affects your skin.

There is allot of Moisturisers out on the market at this the moment, and getting the right it vital. So here's a few good ones to invest in!

Garnier Hydralock

This is a GREAT moisturiser, I'm glad i found it, or else my skin would have been dead dry. A thick yet rich cream which easily absorbs into the skin. It doesn't have such an overpowering fragrance either.

Botanics Body Oil

This soothes and moisturises the skin, containing bermonte and jojoba its great to use once you step out of the bath. Only purchased in boots of course. I reckon its an all rounder, use it for massaging into your face, like a hot cloth method, or massaging the cuticle.

E45 Endless Moisture

Leaves skin feeling soft and moisturized, its also kind to the skin as E45 is known to treat sensitive skin and skin problems. I have used it before to treat dry skin and eczema and it truly works well.

Price: £5 and upwards.

Body Shop Olive Oil Body Butter

Olive oil has to be one of the kindest fruits to the skin, the butter doesn't smell so strong, its subtle and smooth on the skin and absorbs well. However not like all body shop butters some don't sink in and have a layer of oil.

Some people prefer deep fat fried high cholesterol dripping with oil disgustingly unhealthy early grave food. ON A CONSTANT BASIS. I hate people like that. HEALTHY FOOD IS A MUST PEOPLE, healthy food not only is good for health it has an impact on your emotions. So the oven and grill is my good ol' friend.

So i ask myself...why am i still up? i swear i love my sleep?.....which i do. But i just can't decide.

Ive been researching about 'ombre hair' which have been seen on 'Alexa Chung'...she seems to rock everything to perfection...and blogger 'llymlrs'....its real cute. BUT WILL IT WORK ON BLACK HAIR?!!!....god knows...so I'm going to experiment.

So.Red? or Chestnut?... I'm kinda shifting to chestnut brown because its such a natural ' oh shes such a sweetheart' colour. where as red screams ' THIS GIRLS A B.'

Shopaholic? me? Puh-lease....i just ADORE fashion, and i feel the need to update my wardrobe. Yes..its jam packed, No...i cant bare the thought of throwing things away, so maybe ill give them to charity...be the nice Samaritan :). So , i did go to newlook today, i cant ever pass the shop, i HAVE to go in and snoop around. shame on you. So, me being me, i and my Friend headed straight for the SHOES!. Come on...its a must around this time of Autumn/winter...the smell of the leather and...*sigh*. Newlook are selling some great boots and shoes now for a reasonable price, and you cant complain because their shoes are the 'ish'..great quality.

Its feel awfully odd posting on my blog again, as you can see i changed the header, nice?
So today's been quite productive, looking for a job (sad times) and looking for a new camera ( any suggestions) and trying on some winter booties preferably ones with heels in newlook.
